SMS, MMS, and RCS Messaging
If you opt in to receive text messages from Lyons Leather Co. (including SMS, MMS, and RCS messages), the following additional terms apply:
- No third-party sharing. We do not sell, rent, share, or disclose your mobile phone number, messaging opt-in status, or any related consumer data to any third party or affiliate for their marketing, advertising, or promotional purposes. This no-sharing policy applies to all categories of personal information collected through our SMS/RCS program.
- How we use your number. We use your mobile number only to send you the messages you have opted in to receive (such as order updates, shipping notifications, and — if you have opted in — marketing messages from Lyons Leather Co.), and we share it only with our email and SMS service provider and the carriers required to deliver those messages on our behalf.
- Opt out at any time. You may opt out of marketing messages at any time by replying STOP to any message we send you. After you reply STOP, we will send you a single SMS confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and you will not receive further marketing messages from us. If you want to re-join in the future, you can opt in again the same way you did the first time.
- Help. For help, reply HELP to any message. If you have questions about your text plan or data plan, please contact your wireless carrier.
- Rates and frequency. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.
Behavioral Advertising and Our Own Marketing
We use limited advertising and analytics tools to market our own products and understand how our Site is used. Specifically:
- We use Google Analytics 4 to understand Site usage.
- We may use Meta (Facebook/Instagram) pixels, Google Ads tags, and similar technologies to measure the performance of our own advertising and to show Lyons Leather Co. ads to people who have visited our Site.
We do not share your personal information with advertising networks, data brokers, or other third parties so they can market their own products to you. The advertising tools we use are for our own marketing only. Where required by law, we ask for your consent before using these tools.

Lyons Leather Co. does not sell your personal information and does not share your personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising. We have not sold or shared personal information in the preceding 12 months, and we have no actual knowledge that we sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.
Exercising Your California Rights

If you would like to designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, please include verification of their authority in your request. We will respond to verifiable requests within the timeframes required by California law.
Automated Decision-Making
We do not engage in fully automated decision-making that has a legal or otherwise significant effect on you.
Our processor Shopify uses limited automated decision-making to prevent fraud, which does not have a legal or otherwise significant effect on you. This includes:
- Temporary blocking of IP addresses associated with repeated failed transactions (typically a small number of hours);
- Temporary blocking of credit cards associated with blocked IP addresses (typically a small number of days).
Cookies
A cookie is a small amount of information that is downloaded to your device when you visit our Site. We use functional, performance, advertising, and analytics cookies. Cookies make your browsing experience better by allowing the website to remember your actions and preferences (such as cart contents and region selection) and by providing us with information on how people use our Site.
