Lyons Leather Co. is a premium leather goods brand based in Colorado, creating thoughtfully designed bags and accessories for aspiring minimalists. Our products are handcrafted in small batches using premium leathers and solid brass hardware, with a focus on timeless design, versatility, and everyday function.
We're a fast-growing ecommerce brand looking for a highly organized, creative, and proactive contractor to help support our growing social media, community, affiliate, and creator content efforts.
Role Overview
We're looking for a part-time Content & Community Manager to help manage and grow our social media presence across Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube and TikTok while supporting our affiliate and UGC (user-generated content) programs.
This role is ideal for someone who understands modern social media culture, loves creator/influencer marketing, and thrives in a fast-paced startup environment. You should be highly organized, proactive, and excited about helping build a premium lifestyle brand.
This is a contractor position estimated at approximately 15-20 hours per week.
Responsibilities
Social Media & Community Management
- Monitor and respond to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok DMs in a timely, warm, and on-brand manner
- Engage with customers and community members across social platforms
- Escalate customer service issues or sensitive conversations when needed
- Help maintain a consistent and engaging brand presence online
- Posting 3-4x per week on all platforms
- Facebook Fan Group moderation
- monitoring for questions & engagement
- monthly BST post
- weekly Welcome post
Affiliate & Influencer Support
- Grow Affiliate program
- Execute and manage affiliate communication 2-4x per month
- Affiliate outreach
- Help approve/onboard new affiliates and creators
- Coordinate gifting and creator outreach
- Track creator deliverables and follow-ups
- Help identify potential influencer and UGC partnership opportunities
Content & UGC Coordination
- Support and maintain the Notion Content Engine for email, Instagram, TikTok, and paid ads
- prioritizing Tiktok as an organic growth channel
- Source and organize UGC from creators and customers in our Notion Influencer Database
- Coordinate content requests and deadlines with creators
- Maintain organized content libraries and tracking systems
- Assist in identifying top-performing creator content and trends
Administrative & Organizational Support
- Maintain Notion Content Calendar and relevant Notion databases
- Organize social media assets and creator files in Google Drive
- Support launch coordination and campaign preparation as needed
Qualifications
- 1–3+ years experience in social media, influencer marketing, community management, or ecommerce marketing
- Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and modern social trends
- Excellent written communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Self-starter who can work independently and proactively
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment
- Passion for our products and brand
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience working with DTC/ecommerce brands
- Experience coordinating UGC creators or influencer partnerships
- Familiarity with affiliate platforms and social scheduling tools
- Basic content editing experience (CapCut, Canva, etc.)
- Understanding of TikTok and Reels best practices
Compensation
- Contractor position
- Approximately 10–20 hours/week
- Compensation range: $2,500–$4,000/month retainer depending on experience and scope
